Busyness and sadness weekend, last Saturday was the last day of lamay of my dearest lola, sabi nga nila pag may patay it’s also a reunion. Saturday is a full blast of visitors from our family and friends as in puno ang room despite of the weather and traffic. Most of the visitors came from North travel period is 3 hours, one of our visitors came from Pampanga 10 hours lang naman inabot niya sa sobrang traffic. It is overwhelming, seeing these people how much they love my lola.
Sunday was her burial, super lakas ng ulan. Hirap explain kay Sam that her lola lola was already gone, sabi ko kasi tulog lang. When I asked him to say good bye he said “Bye lola lola, lab you”. And the time na binababa na casket, he said “why laglag lola lola, wawa cya, get natin”. Hay anak kung ganyan lang sana kasimple ang buhay.
Lola Naty has 11 childrens, and 32 grand childrens plus so many great grand childrens, lahat ng apo niya naalagaan niya and each one of us has special moment with her.
I am lucky na she was able to carry Sam when he was still a baby at magaan pa siya. And madami pa sila pinagsamahan, Lola was with us to celebrate his baptismal, first birthday, our reunion and many events pa. Sam makes his lola laugh all the time.
I don’t have any regrets when Lola died, alam ko kasi na I always have time for her, kahit pagod na kmi every weekend we still visit her. The last time that I saw her was September 9, I can still remember how she smiled at me and makes kuwento, and hinatid pa niya kami sa labas. Hindi ko alam that will be the last kiss, hug, chika time namin mag lola. I love you so much Lola
