Since I gave birth, I forgot how to do my makeup. I am happy with my lipstick and pressed powder. Because I cannot find suit cosmetics for me. I have a sensitive skin, it is hard for me to find a pressed powder and foundation that will last long. Until the day that I attended an event and everyone looks good while me I look pale. This is the time that I realized I need to learn how to do my own make up in case times like this. Late last year also when I realized that I need to look good again. Good thing I found Ellana Mineral Cosmetics that really suit my skin and really last long.
I got curious with their products late last year, I watched some video through their facebook live. Luckily they have a kiosk in Landmark Alabang. I was able to do some swatches and I ordered through online because of the discount.
WHAT DID I PURCHASE
Invested with the Dual Head Retractable Stay Gorgeous Powder Brush which cost Php 799.00, this is the most expensive in their product line. But the item is worth it. One may be used for the foundation and the other end is to conceal.
Makeup brush cleaner, since I am a busy working mom I do not have all the time to wash it. This cleaner save my time for cleaning it, you just need to spray a little on the brush and dry it with a tissue. This doesn’t have a solvent like scent like other cleaners. It smells like a sweet melon.
Magnetic makeup palette for my pressed mineral foundation, and refillable mirror jar for my loose mineral concealer and foundation.
Now let’s start for the cosmetics I got;
ELLANA BLUR PRIMER
Late last year, when I got to know the use of primer 🙂 late bloomer lang ang peg. This blur primer is perfect for me since I have a sensitive skin and enlarge pores. It perfectly finished as matte, it can be serve as my base make up.
ELLANA LOOSE CONCEALER AND FOUNDATION
This is the first that I purchased mineral cosmetics, I got this loose concealer shade radiant. Just put a little in the jar cover and can be used to spot-conceal and to cover up under eye circles. I also put this all over my face. What I love with this one para siyang second skin mo talaga, it really suits my skin. Hindi siya mabigat and makapal. Its look natural.
ELLANA PRESSED MINERAL FOUNDATION
After I conceal my face, I blend and finished it with Ellana foundation. I got the hazel nut shade. This will last long for 6-8 hours.
CONCLUSION:
After trying several of foundation, concealer and pressed powder for a long time. I finally found the one that really suits me and I can say and guaranteed that will stay long. I tested this last December because of my heavy schedule was not able to retouch and yes the foundation stays. I don’t feel oily all the time and hindi siya nag cake. For the price it may sounds expensive but it last long and you can see the results.
