It’s my second time to have a customized cake for my little kulit. His first cake was a teddy bear theme during his baptismal. During his first birthday I just ordered sponge bob cake in Goldilocks since included na sa birthday package niya ang cake.
Now that he is six years old and he is aware what he likes for his birthday I decided to order a customized cake for him. Our first option is Angry birds theme but all of sudden he changed his mind to a Pokemon Go theme. Pintrest is a great help for us in choosing a design, siya na sumuko sa kakatingin. Then we settled for this one, since I told him it will be a simple one lang since we just have a mini party sa 7th birthday na lang siya bumawi.
I looked for a supplier, dami magaganda and also affordable but the problem is malayo ang place for pick up or sobrang mahal naman sa delivery charge. Good thing my high school batch mate Femie is now on this business, she is making customized cake and cupcakes. You can check her facebook for more info. I gave her the design, then she told me na instead edible yung figures she will put the toy na lang para magamit din after the party.

Grabe talaga basta pagdating sa bata, ang hirap pigilan ang gastos. Hahaha. I remember back when I was a kid. It was always a simple cake. Nowadays, kids have themed or custom made cakes. My kids din naman eh. Ganon din. I suppose the idea is to make it practical in the sense the choose one who could make na affordable naman. Kasi meron talaga super high end and the prices are sinful.

Aww! That was cute. Pansin ko ang mga bata hilig pokemon. And these days a lot of pokemon character prints are everywhere. My son likes the cards but i wish he wont request for a cake na pokemon on his bday! Its good to know the cake tastes good!

I have a friend who customized cakes and cupcakes din pero once lang ko nag-order, yung Mickey Mouse theme kami. Di kasi type ng anak ko fondant cake so I just buy cake na lang then DIY topper. Mas maganda nga lang design pag fondant cake. 🙂
Noong una hesitant din ako kc pag fondant hindi nakakain pagandahan lang ng design that is whu lagi din Goldilocks or Redribbon then I will add some topper. But this one okay siya malambot sa loob

If I am little kulit, I will surely be happy as well with my cake. Uso ang Pokemon pa naman. It isn’t too big nor too small. Sakto lang. And obviously talaga, he loves his cake. Kita sa ngiti while blowing the candle

Ang ganda ng Pikachu cake! Kapag fondant cake mas mahal nga talaga compared to buttercream. My son’s birthday is Dec this year, baka Pikachu rin ang hingin. You know how Pokemon Go made kids and adults here in PH super crazy hehehe
